Current Direct Support Professional
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assisting individuals in learning and developing new skills that enhance opportunities for independence and inclusion. Support may occur in the individuals’ homes or in the community.
- Supporting individuals in achieving independence goals outlined in their Individual Service Plans (ISP) to enhance their progress as adults.
- Accurately documenting the services delivered and the response of the participants/families. Submitting all necessary documentation, including time sheets, in a timely manner.
- Performing all duties ethically and in compliance with local, state, and federal laws, Medicare/Medicaid regulations, and established personnel policies and procedures, including maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
Physical Demands:
This position may require working in various environments, including different housing styles and conditions, during visits to participants’ residences.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
License/Certification:
Driver’s License (Required)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 – $20.00 per hour

Schedule:
- 4-hour shift
- 8-hour shift
- Choose your own hours
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Ability to commute/relocate:
Must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
- Autism: 2 years (Required)
- Caregiving: 3 years (Required)
- Childcare: 1 year (Required)
- Work Location: In-person
