Services We Provide in South Carolina

In-Home Respite Care

Short-term care services that provide temporary relief for family members while ensuring the individual continues to receive safe, high-quality support. Respite can be provided in the home or community and helps maintain caregiver well-being while promoting continuity of care.


Accepted Funding: Community Supports (CS) Waiver, ID/RD Waiver, HASCI Waiver, Community Choices (CC) Waiver, MCC Waiver, and Private Pay.

Skilled Nursing Services

Professional skilled nursing care delivered by licensed healthcare professionals to address ongoing medical needs in the home or community setting. Services may include medication administration, health assessments, chronic condition management, clinical monitoring, and specialized nursing procedures to support overall health and well-being.


Accepted Funding: ID/RD Waiver and HASCI Waiver.

Adult & Children's Attendant Care

Hands-on support services designed to assist both adults and children with daily living activities, personal care, and routine tasks while encouraging independence. Services are tailored to the individual's needs and may include assistance at home, in the community, or during participation in educational and recreational activities.

Companion Services

Supportive, non-medical services that provide companionship, supervision, and assistance with community participation to help individuals remain engaged and connected. Services may include support with recreational activities, social interaction, community outings, and maintaining meaningful relationships while promoting independence and quality of life.

Personal Care

Individualized assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) to help individuals maintain their health, safety, and independence. Services may include bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility assistance, meal preparation, and other personal care needs based on the individual's level of support.

Independent Living Skills (ILS)

Training and support focused on developing the skills necessary for greater independence and self-sufficiency. Services may include instruction in household management, budgeting, communication, personal responsibility, community navigation, and decision-making, helping individuals achieve their personal goals and live more independently.

ID-RD Waiver

The goal of the ID/RD Waiver program is to enhance the quality of life for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) by promoting their independence and enabling them to live fulfilling lives. The program provides a range of essential services designed to meet the diverse needs of clients.

HASCI Waiver

The services provided through the HASCI waiver are designed to meet the unique needs of individuals with head and spinal cord injuries, providing them with the necessary support and resources to live as independently as possible. Services include personal care services, assistive technology, and adult attendant care.

Medicaid
